Finally...

For years I have been looking for a stylish boot for my large dogs (15 W). The Allen Edmonds boots are nice, but too dressy in my opinion for jeans or casual slacks. These are an excellent find. Many reviews talked about how comfortable they are. I wouldn't want to walk around cobblestone streets in Boston or up the steep sidewalks of San Francisco from dawn to dusk in them, but they are quite comfortable.

I've had these boots for two years and they have been my absolute favorite. Although they are not extremely cushioned, they are very comfortable and well made and I can walk anywhere in them. Over time the leather molds to your foot. I have them in brown and get compliments on them all the time. Just picked up the black ones for this season, too. Note that the surface of the leather does get scuffed pretty quickly so they get a bit of a rugged, worn look. If that suits you as it does me, you'll love these boots!

Thankfully, Nordstrom put up with my numerous online orders while trying to find a boot. I live up north by Canada and am not fortunate enough to have a Nordstrom to shop at in person so I ordered several online. These boots were try number 4 and thats where the search ended. Its a quality boot all around, sturdy and rugged but looks great. I have received numerous compliments for them. All in all, just a great all around boot for everyday wear in the fall and winter. A little bit narrower than would expect with a boot, but they offer a wide in 11.5 so it worked fine.
