Squishy sqeeky sound from soles

I’m sooo disappointed because these shoes 8N actually fit my narrow bony foot. I’ve tried many from other makers! BUT am afraid the sound that the soles make when walking on a hardwood surface may be a deal breaker! I have another pr of Noat shows purchased abt 10 yrs ago. Still love them! My old shoes have that same swirly imprint on the bottoms, however there must be something very different in the composition of the soles. Sorry that these will probably have to be returned in spite of their comfort as the sound is too distracting.
I wanted to love this shoe but it did not fit my narrow foot. I have a pair of Naot boots I love as they are well made and so comfortable. I guess I need to stick with boots or tie shoes.
I wear Naot almost exclusively and looked forward to these....but these were cut just enough too high at the heel back so the back of my ankle was "cut."....the other issue was probably mine; I thought (and certainly thought I had ordered) leather and got suede instead, which I dislike....but the too-high back at the heel was the real issue. I still love Naot...just not this pair....
