I have the WORST chapped, peeling, cracking dry lips. This winter about did me in. I'm long past all of the drugstore brands (tried them ALL) and literally nothing made a difference. The best I had found this winter was the NUXE Baume Rives; it works but has a tendency to make a major layer peel off after it has soaked in and that was really causing a rebound effect. I decided to buy a selection of all the top-rated, mid-range products at Nordstrom and this one was a landslide WINNER!! HG material. Forget the Clarins, Kiehls #1, REN, Kerstin Florian..they are all too much like Vaseline; they sit on top, slip and do nothing to truly treat the underlying problem. This is everything everyone else has mentioned in their positive reviews; use it morning, night or anytime in between. Excellent before lipstick, takes very little to be effective. This & BITE beauty agave lip mask (sephora) have saved me. THE best healing and protecting products ever!
I am a lip balm junkie - thanks, Philosophy, for feeding my "addiction......" I LOVE this stuff. My skin is always dry, especially my lips. They constantly peel and crack, and I've tried ALL the secret little tips and tricks without much success. Until this lip balm. WOW! First, it smells like an Andes mint (and who doesn't love Andes Mints?!?), it has a great soothing, smooth consistency, and isn't sticky. This lip balm literally healed my lips overnight. I can't believe I passed over this so many times - it's the best! A little goes a long way, and to me, it's definitely worth the $$$.

I've always had a REALLY bad problem with chapped lips and more importantly dead skin. This product has changed my lips 'make up'. They're ALWAYS soft. They're NEVER chapped. I wash my face am and pm and apply this after each time. Lasts forever. Doesn't wear off quickly. If you're asking yourself 'um really?! $20 for a Chapstick?!' Buy it! It's worth it!

This lip therapy does make the lips feel smooth. I did not think that it lasted very long and I had to keep applying it.
