Proslight, natural, non-cakey
Now, I have never tried a NARS product before, but I would like to say from a first timer this is amazing. I am an African American young lady and have tried many other foundations Nordstrom carries. I decided to try this brand because they are the few brands that can cater to a variety of African American skin tones. I bought this for going on a all girls birthday celebration/vacation; it made my skin look flawless and even, yet it did not look cakey, unnatural or theatrical. I am very sad that they are not selling this in the Nordstrom stores in the Bay Area, because I just got hooked on this product last month (February)! However, my next step is to try the facial care.

Prosflawless, natural
I have used numerous foundations and NARS Matte Foundation has been the best I've used thus far. I tend to have an oil T-zone area and this foundation keeps my skin looking fresh and even at the end of the day.
This was one of the first foundations I spent (what I thought to be) a small fortune. I did plenty of research before purchasing and this one was the winner!
It goes on light and lasted me through long work days! It's creamy enough that all you need is a nice translucent powder to pair with it.
Thought I liked this product when I first applied it but as the day went on it disappeared from my T-zone. It is a very light coverage foundation, i'd recommend if that is what you are looking for. It does not last very long maybe for 4 hours. It can also be a little toooo dry if that is your skin type.
