Ever since my skin changed a couple years ago from normal to pretty much dry, I thought my days of using pressed powder foundation were over. I used another mineral line for 10 years and it just didn't work for my skin anymore. I am SO happy an online Nordstrom beauty rep recommended this to me. It's perfect!!!! I love the way it looks and feels. More importantly my skin loves it too. Its the smoothest powder I have ever used and feels like nothing. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or cause breakouts. It also doesn't dry my skin out. Never looks cakey or accentuates drier areas or fine lines. The coverage is pretty good and I love the finish. When I need/want extra coverage I use my Dr. Jart BB cream first, then this powder. Other days just moisturizer with sunscreen and the Jane Iredale on top. I apply with a large brush.
I was introduced to Jane Iredale products on a vacation to Kauai. I have used them ever since. You know when you put them on you are not putting a bunch of fillers on your face. Your skin feels light and flawless. This is my first powder and I love it more than any liquid base I have ever tried. Great skin protection also!
I really love this Jane Iredale powder. Unfortunately for me, there is no retail store around the area that sells her products so I had to resort to buying several different shades at once to find the closest match. I am still in the process of finding that perfect shade for me right now (however I did end up finding my perfect color for winter when I am pale lol). This powder does not make me break out, does not make me shiny after a few hours, does not dry my skin, and stays put for hours. It is very natural looking and covers imperfections/blemishes moderately (I do use a concealer for the bad imperfections). Definitely recommend!
