This mitt is magical. It does indeed take off your makeup, just be gentle around the eye area. I noticed that it works well as an exfoliate as well.
The best part about this mitt, is after washing my face, my drying towel does not show streaks of unwashed makeup like it used to!

Proscleans so well!
This mitt really does take off all your makeup without stripping or drying the skin. My daughter dances and acts, so she has to clean off "stage" makeup quite frequently. It gets every last drop!
Comes clean in the wash too. The reason I gave only four stars instead of 5 is because they have almost doubled in price since I bought my first one a few years ago. That's not ideal, but still love this product.
This a very good aid to washing your face. After a few uses, it alone does not remove your eye makeup but I do love the texture of the mitt, I believe it removes more makeup when you add cleanser to it then if you were to just use cleanser alone on your face. It helps me feel like I have fully cleaned off the makeup. On my 3rd one, so I would say I was very satisfied.
I love these so much I now own five of them. These mitts do not even need soap to remove makeup. If I feel really grimy, I can add a little soap and it does the trick. I use so much less facial cleanser now and my face comes out squeaky clean.
