I have used the Advanced Hydro-Compact for several years, and I find it to be the best ever in terms of application, coverage and appearance. I have used more foundations than I can count, and this one is the best, hands down. You can apply it as heavy or light as you want, and the applicator sponge is designed to adequately cover under the eyes and around the nose area. It has a very smooth, velvety finish, and doesn't sit on top of your skin like many brands do. Once you find your color, how convenient to order online and have it delivered to your door!

Natural, easy coverage

I love the liquid compact refills from Shiseido. The makeup is light but covers well and looks very natural. My nose has a reddish hue, but I am able to easily cover it with a few swipes with the applicator pad. I used to buy the compact, but soon realized I don't really need it, that the refill alone is good enough. I have now been using this product for over 7 years, and don't see a need to change it up. It is my go-to product every morning.
Didn't have this in the store for my mother, they ordered it for us and shipped to her house after verifying that she had the right color. Customer service is always exemplary.

I began using foundation when I was 50; I am fortunate to have had pretty good skin. When I auditioned foundations, I felt most to be too heavy. The Shiseido was the first to cover my redness but not feel heavy. I have used it faithfully for 12 years. When I receive samples (Chanel, Bobbi Brown, MAC) I give them a try but always go back to this one. B20 is perfect for my light, sallow complexion.
