I am very disappointed with this product. It is NOT the same. The rubber component is smaller and therefore DOES not curl correctly. SEE PHOTO ATTACHED
As other reviewers have mentioned, this curler is well suited to almond shaped or hooded eyes. I have almond shaped eyes and this curler perfectly curls all my lashes without bending them in a weird disorganized way like a traditional curler does. This has completely changed my lash game and mascara is so much easier to apply for a much more natural and elegant effect. Highly recommend for almond shaped or hooded eyes.
