Prosnatural-looking, long-lasting, cool grey, for ash brows
If you a low-contrasting person with blonde, light brown, or grey hair, and your brows are *truly* ash (not one hint of warmth), and you've become jaded because so many brow products advertised as "ash" turn hairs yellow or orange, have a look at this pencil in 'Natural Black' GY901.
'Natural 'Black' is actually a cool, mid-toned grey. The pencil is hard (but not as hard as Shu Uemura Hard Formula), so it performs best if the skin's natural oils are present. If you have just washed your face, you can sweep your moisturizer (or sunscreen) dabbled fingers over your brows as a last step. Let the sunscreen/moisturizer sink in, blot with a tissue (if necessary), and then lightly feather the pencil tip over your brow hairs. If I overdo it, and the color looks too dark, I just use the brush end to blend out. I don't have a problem with the color fading throughout the day.
A tip: Buy the Shiseido sharpener. I have countless sharpeners (Dior, Chanel, Uemura, McEvoy, Brown, Mercier, NARS, UD, Clinique, tarte, Urban Decay, etc.) and NONE give as fine a point as the Shiseido.
I LOVE this pencil, and I have the feeling it will still work when my brow hairs turn grey.
I keep looking for an eyebrow pencil that will last and this one isn't it. The pencil is very hard and the color doesn't adhere well. In a couple hours or less it is gone. Nice color.

I have black hair and the charcoal gray fills in my eyebrows perfectly without looking too harsh or too dark. Blendable but stays put after I finish applying it.
