Great Shaper!

Proscomfortable, non-binding, stayed in place
I wore this under my dress for my son's wedding - from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. It was very comfortable, not tight or binding anywhere. I wore without a bra as I found the under wire in the shaper was sufficient and the fit was better without my bra. I did not try to take the under wire out - but you can. I normally wear a size 16W and purchased the XL shaper. My dress was also from Nordstroms - Adrianna Pappel Tiered Chiffon Gown in size 16 (the color I wanted did not come in 16W, so I needed the shaper to do it's job). I was very pleased with the amount of control, but even more so with the comfort.

Wore it for 9 1/2 hours for a wedding, dinner, and dance. Very happy with it. Worth the price!

Like other reviewers, I didn't think I'd be able to get into this thing, but when I finally did, it hugged in all the right places. My one complaint is that the cups in the bra give too much compression for me. They flatten my already small breasts into basically nothing. So, I added a very padded bra underneath and it works better with my dress. If I could change anything, I'd say it needs shaping in the bra area. Otherwise, it's amazing. I ordered a small and I wear a size 27 jeans and small tops usually.

Compression end before bra line

The Slim Cognito shaper has good compression, but for some reason they end the compression an inch or so under the bra line and put hosiery fabric at the top of the garment. This accentuates the back/bra bulge which defeats my purpose in wanting a full shaper. I ended up settling for the Simplicity open bust body suit because the compression is the same on the entire garment. It removes the muffin top, but I wish it had stronger compression for the tummy like the Cognito does.
