I’ve dry skin, particularly around my nose and chin. I’ve tried a lot of moisturizers, and they’d always work for a bit at first, and then my problem areas would be back where I started. I decided to try this after all the hype id heard; I can’t believe so many people find this to be so great. First, it’s full of chemicals, I’m shocked no one seems to care - and it was nothing special! Does everyone like it because it’s high priced and perceives it as fancy? It’s not, just look into the ingredients. Terrible stuff. Not healthy for your skin, I will never buy a thing from this brand again.
Ever since I started using La Mer face cream, my complexion has greatly improved. The cream makes my face glow! I love La Mer. It’s the best line of makeup out there!
I really thought this cream was a hype. I have damaged skin and large pores. I finally broke down and tried this after hearing about it non-stop. My biggest lesson for how to moisturize my sensitive, acne-prone combination skin, was to pat a very small amount of moisturizer on (no-matter the brand) on my face rather than spread it around like I would body lotion. That would require putting on an excessive amount and lead to oiliness, shine, and almost certainly breakouts. With that knowledge I have been using this a week, applying the smallest amount and patting it sparingly on my skin. Wow....every time I pass a mirror I stop in awe to look at my skin. It is not just the fact that it is moisturized and baby smooth; it has this healthy sheen - the kind I would see on others but never myself. It's amazing!!!! Sometimes I combine an even tinier amount with a drop of my Cerave face moisturizer to save money or if my face feels like it needs less heavy, and that is also giving me excellent results. IT IS NOT A HYPE. The people who say it is too greasy or likely applying it incorrectly for their skin and need to use less.
