Acne no more!!
PostedFebruary 5, 2016
My husband bought me both of the eye creams, face lift, gel moisturizer, toner and oil absorbing toner. It was freakin expensive as heck (Christmas gift) but so worth it!!!! Im in my late 30's (yikes) and have had acne since I moved back to San Diego. So now I DO NOT break out any more especially during that time of the month. The scaring I had is fading. Not totally but it's not as prominent anymore.
It's amazing! I scoop up a pea sized and place on the top of my hand. What ever I have left over I rub on the tops of my hands and I can notice a slight difference. More smoother. Driving in Cali can make your hands look much older. :(
I love this!!!!

Sensitive AND oily? Forget it. You name it...I've tried it. American, French, Swiss. The money I've spent on skincare could send a kid through college or buy a nice house. So why haven't I given up and let nature take its course? The same reason you haven't. We all want to look as pretty as possible as long as possible.
On one hand, you get what you pay for; on the other hand, in skincare you often pay for way more than you get.
I tried La Mer when it first came out. The original moisturizer was way too heavy, so I figured it was a line for more mature skin. Guess what? It's now ten years later; I have more mature skin and La Mer has broadened its line. I simply cannot imagine any skincare concern from 16-60 (70,80+) that La Mer doesn't address.
I use the whole line now. Yes, that decision requires a little prioritizing from time to time.
The good news is that the Nordstrom sales people take wonderful care of me, ALWAYS loading up my shopping bag or phone order with lots of samples that help reduce the...uh...financial impact and make travelling so much lighter!
If I had to choose the absolute superstar of La Mer, for me, anyway, it would be the this product, the gel moisturizer. A very small amount makes my face feel like a rose petal. Don't ever plan to be without it...not a single day for the rest of my life.
Bad news: I'm six months out from reaching the dreaded 60. Good news: people think I'm in my mid 40s.
Try this line. You won't be sorry.

La Mer Gel Cream

Proslightweight, absorbs quickly, non oily/shiny
This cream is AMAZING and makes my skin so smooth (I dont even use a primer when i use it). I really like how it's hydrating but doesn't leave my skin looking oily. I have tried other gel creams but they don't hydrate without making my skin look shiny. Even the scent of the miracle broth isn't obnoxiously strong.I use this morning and night with my other brands of skin care and it works great. After I finish it, I will definitely use a second jar, it's great.

I've had a really hard time finding moisturizer that hydrates without leaving my skin looking oily. I've tried the original Creme and the Soft Cream by La Mer and both end of feeling too heavy / thick for me; someone recommended I try the Gel Cream and it's absolutely perfect!
