Thought it worked, but dried my lips

I used to love this when I used it every day, but I have noticed when I use it once and while, it drys my lips out worse than they were to start with. I've noticed this with all La Mer products unfortunately. I used La Mer religiously for over 5 years, but stopped and it took my skin almost a month to recover. I have very dry, sensitive skin and this was not appropriate for my lips.

I love this lip balm and wear it both day and overnight. It is pleasant to apply and to wear, plumps and moisturizes lips and has a sweet, minty flavor.

Love La Mer products! Winter lips got me like WHAT?! Chapped, peeling, old looking. So bad applying lip color of any kind just catches on the rough part and looks awful. Tried Fresh Sugar lip products which usually do the trick but not this time. When I got this I was dubious- but day two and a few applications and I am HEALED! Doesn't seem that impressive going on, but this stuff is miraculous. Typical La Mer- pricey but WORTH IT.

This was recommended by a friend who swears by it. Not even prescriptions could clear up a bad case of dry lips but this did for her. It does hydrate my lips very well and feels great but I find that I have to reapply a lot.
