I love the way my lips feel when I use this product! I took on a trip to NYC and Europe in late fall and it kept my lips from getting chapped! The only complaint I have is the "dip your finger in" packaging. I caught myself wanting to apply with unwashed hands and then felt like I was going to ruin it!
My expectations may have been unrealistic. My lips were extremely dry and flaky. I read several reviews and decided to try the La Mer. I like that it stays on longer than most lip balms and my lips feel smoother when I use the product. However, the results are superficial. The product doesn't moisturize or help heal the chapped lips. (That may not be possible with any lip balm, though.) It's a nice product and if you can afford it comfortably, enjoy it. If it's a big stretch, it may not do what is needed for the price.
la mer Lip Balm is wonderful! My lips have never felt so healthy and soft.I have very dry lips especially in the winter,and this is the first lip balm that has helped me.I have tried about 20 lip balms all prices and none have worked like this one.I was hesitant at first ,because of the price but you get what you pay for. Then there is Nordstroms service which is excellent.This is now my go to store because of the not only the kind courteous staff,but because how easy it is to return items.
