Of course it's expensive, it's La Mer. If you don't want to pay more money than you are comfortable with for excellent quality, then don't bother shopping from them! Price point aside, this balm is awesome. It lasts a long time, isn't greasy, and melts into your lips. I put it on at night and by morning my lips are smooth and supple. I'm addicted! Not a sweet fragrance like many balms, this one as many others have said has a minty quality to it. It's refreshing and the packaging is, of course, divine.
