This Facial does everything it promises. Leaves behind a rich moisture barrier because of the beautiful oils it contains. I cleansed before the facial and not after. You want to leave that moisture to soak in throughout the night and you wake up to a baby soft complexion. If you can follow the facial with the La Mer intensive revitalizing mask then you should. They make a lovely and relaxing night time skin treat!

Prosgentle, smell minty, good value
I love this refining facial. A lot of other facial buffers are really harsh and make microtears in the skin. Particularly coffee scrubs and nut-based scrubs! This La Mer facial buffer is very gentle, it smells amazing (light mint), and your face feels fresh, not scoured or red. It also lasts forever. I use it 1-2 times a week on both my face and decolletage, and have had the same tube for six months now and it's not close to being empty.

It's all true, when you try to wash this off it leaves a white chalky film that you can feel and see. I can only get that off if I use the La mer face wash but that's the only thing that does the trick.. The Refining facial leaves your face smooth and it smells nice but, that residue is a pain in the butt!

This product is very unique. The combination of mineral powders leaves the skin perfectly purified, smooth, and radiant. I personally apply it in the shower before I cleanse. I then massage it in, focusing on the t-zone. I next use my Clarisonic with the cashmere brush head and the La Mer Cleansing Foam over the Refining Facial. No residue is left on my skin.
