A Winter Must

I love the original La Mer products, I feel that in recent years a lot of their releases have become expertly marketed, but have failed to pack the punch of the classics, and are a tad gimmicky. That being said, The Hand Treatment is one I will always come back to. I have a terrible, anxious habit of biting my fingernails and picking at my cuticles, and in the winter months, when the skin becomes drier and more chapped, this is a true life saver. In just a couple days, it repairs my skin, heals any cuts, replenishes moisture and makes my hands so soft and silky. It is truly incredible. It is a bit greasy, and does take a bit to fully absorb, but when it does, it is unbeatable. I’m deducting one star for the oily texture upon application, but that is my only gripe about this lovely product.
