I was so frustrated with finding a good pair of very tall boots that actually stay up when you wear them! Because of the nice thick leather, they stay up and look fabulous on!! I like how i have the option to roll them down too. Great boots, I can just feel the quality of the workmanship! Will definetley buy another pair!! They are tight on the top of the foot but i can tell it will stretch as I wear them in.
I seem to be in the minority. I ordered these in taupe, dark brown and slate. There seems to be manufacturing differences among the same sizes. I had difficulty getting my feet into the taupe, but once it was in I experienced wiggle room in my heel.
The dark brown and slate are a different story. I have slender calves, feet and ankles. I could grab at least 4 inches of leather they are that loose in the shaft. The wiggle room even with heavy ski socks is too much. I ordered size 7 and that's my normal shoe size, but these boots must be manufactured on the big end.
Since there is so much loose leather I find the dark brown and slate slouch which I don't like. This confines me to where them with skinny jeans only.
I'm a frustrated boot shopper!

I have searched forever for awesome looking yet comfortable tall boots. These are perfect. I wear Size 9, I ordered size 9. At first they were a little tight to get on and across the footbed, but once you break them in they are perfect. The slate is beautiful, the black is too! I get compliments every time I wear them!

Awesome boots

I bought 2 pairs of these boots..taupe...goes with everything and slate...wanted something a little different then just plain black, well these are them. These boots will never go out of style so I invested the money. They are so comfy. At first they are a little hard to get on. I just used a plastic bag and had no problem. After I broke them in they go on without the plastic and fit great. I wear an 8.5 to 9. I got these in a 9. If your thinking about these boots. I say get them. Taupe seems to go with everything and the slate is just plain awesome looking. I don't want to take them off. I get compliments everytime I wear them. So happy.
