It runs big and has an a-line cut. Worked well under a loose fitting dress, but it seemed to stretch as the day went on. I bought two colors and one was slightly bigger than the other so I'll be returning it.
Barely feels like it is there. Great coverage and doesn't ride up like most slips. Ordered the medium/large as I wear a size 10 and could have used the small/medium.
This slip made me realize a few things: I have short legs (no, like really short) and I must dress like a, uh-hem, lady-of-the-night? For reference, I am 5'5" and a size 6/8 and got the S/M. I have a few dress that have the high/low thing going on but the high (I thought) wasn't especially so. Thanks to the current trend of using the cheapest, most see-through fabric available (while still charging +100 bucks) I needed a slip to make sure my underwear of choice remained a mystery to everyone but me. I bought this and it's.. fine? I have a hard time believing that anyone smaller than a size 4 can make this work. It seems large even for me that's on the larger end of the size range. Also, if I wear it like the model does, at my belly button, it hangs waaaayyy down almost to my knees which really makes it useless for those aforementioned high/low dresses. I have to hike it up to almost my boobs.
If you're buying this for longer dresses or have longer legs, you're fine. if you're smaller and have (apparently) stumpy legs like me; keep looking.
