After reading the reviews online, I decided to order this half slip in a sm/med. I normally wear size 8. I think it depends on if you are skinny or curvy and what size you order, as to whether this will ride up or not. The small/medium was pretty form fitting on my size 8 frame. But I believe the bigger size would be too big for me. I don’t like that it is form fitting. I wanted something to cover up my flaws, not accentuate them. But I was desperate, and it does do its job by not allowing light to pass through my legs under my skirt. It doesn’t look that good by itself, in terms of covering up my flaws but under a skirt it’s ok. I was worried about it riding up since it’s made with no hems or seams at the top or bottom (like those seamless no show underwear) but in actuality, it only shifted a little bit, when I pulled at the bottom to see if it had moved. If I were any curvier, it would ride up. Order the right size and you will probably be ok. Size 10 should order the large.
This slip is great for slightly sheer-er dresses and skirts. There is not elastic at the waistband to hold it in place; I have a small waist and more of an hourglass shape, so it does ride up on me like most similar things, but in a slip it doesn’t bother me.
I have a knit suit where, while in the elevator for a meeting, I noticed that - I could pretty much see my legs! This half slip doesn't have a band to squeeze you, lies smoothly. Perfect for what I needed.
Great slip that is perfect for the dress I ordered. I'm 5'4 so I feel this is great for my height however it does ride above my belly button which is higher than the pictured model. It does not have a silicon waist band or any band at all so it can roll when sitting down.
