This slip is totally pointless. I got it to be a modest baselayer underneath a shirt dress. I didn’t want to show any skin (or my undergarments) in the gaps between the buttons on my dress. I had to sneak to the restroom all day to pull the slip down after it rode up to my hips yet again. I think a traditional rayon slip would have worked better. This slip will be going in the donation pile.
I am 5' tall, 80 lbs., and small busted. I bought this slip in both the XS and the S/M, to wear under a knee-length dress that is designed with paint, knowing that it will stick to my skin at the hot summer wedding I am wearing it to. It's a perfect length for the dress, in either size, hitting me at mid-thigh. It is, however, oppressively tight in the bust in the XS size, although it fits well in that size elsewhere - weird. The S/M definitely feels like a better fit. I am waiting to get the dress back from the seamstress, to see which slip works better under it (as it has a keyhole neckline, and I am not sure if either of the slips will be high enough to show through), and which to return. It's perfect for my purposes, I think, but thought I should point out the tight fit in the top.
I ordered a M/L, and am 5'7"- 145 lbs. This slip fits like glove. It is an essential undergarment for winter time in New England. I have 4, and wear them under all my dresses.
