I hesitated at first to review this product, but it's just priced too high!! I have now used it for about one week and can not see any difference to similar products for much less money.....so it's mostly the price which made me review "precious light". I really expected something better than the "cheaper cover ups" one buys at drugstores, Guerlain's item is really not much better; very disappointing since I absolutely love their mascara. I think I WILL return this to my local Nordstrom.

Precious Light Rejuvenating Illuminator Shade 2

Proslight, flawless, moisturizing, natural
HG product! Never buying another concealer ever again!!!
In the past I have used similar pen-type illuminators from YSL, Dior, and By Terry. They are all good, but Guerlain has proven to be the best for my mature eye area because it gives the most natural appearance without looking stark or artificial. Used in a very thin layer from lashes to eyebrow; from inner corner to outter corner, it optically "lifts" my deep set eyes and makes a smooth and even base for my eyeshadow. Once Precious Light sets, it does not migrate and yet it doesn't dry out my delicate eye area as many eye primers do. Since the effect of Precious Light is a satin, real skin glow, it is perfect for those of us who want a brightening effect without adding any unnecessary sparkle or shimmer. And, because it has a slight pearl glow, it makes a beautiful and natural spot highlighter for browbone, inner eye corner, cheekbone, and Cupid's bow.
For reference, I wear Lingerie de Peau in 02 and Precious Light in 01.
I use this product to conceal and brighten the dark circles and shadows around my face. I use #2 which is recommended for olive and golden skin tones.
I’m getting nice coverage and a lovely brightening effect around my eyes and lips.
As an eye concealer- make-up artist recommend using this product only where you see darkness and not on the outer corners which would highlight your crows feet.
As a brightener and to give your eyes a lift- run this product right under and over your eyebrow on the boney areas.
As for around your mouth- run this product around your lips. Once it’s dry then go ahead with your lip products. You will see a difference!
