January 12, 2016 Dear Uggs, My name is Mia I am a 14 year old from Sioux Falls South Dakota I am a serious gymnast at my high school and love fashion. I recently bought a pair of Uggs for Christmas after hours of begging my mom, and lots of saving up, my mom agreed that I could get a pair of Uggs if I paid for half. I then work hard to order the pair of Uggs that I had been looking at for almost 3 years, the gray Bailey Button's. I ordered the boots and when they got here I ended up having to return them for a different size, I then waited patiently for my pair that was in the right size. Almost 3 weeks latter the boots finally got to my doorstep on Saturday night, I was so excided I could hardly contain myself. I waited to take the Uggs outside until Monday so I could wear my new boots to school for the first time. On Monday morning I put the boots on and never wanted to take them off, they felt like heaven on my feet, they also kept my feet warm in the -2 degree weather we where having. They where my favorite pair of shoes I had ever got and it made me feel even cooler knowing that I had paid for half all by myself. After school on Monday feeling like a million bucks in my new Uggs my sister picked me up from school, as I got in the car I started talking to my sister about how much a loved the boots she agreed with me about how wonderful the boots are owning almost 2 pairs of the boots herself. I finally felt like my cool older sister with my new Uggs on. As we headed down the road to get home my sister and I talked and I was texting my friend about how great my boots where when out of no where a red Cadillac turned right in front of us, my sister tried to slam on the breaks, while telling me to hold on, but he was to close and we hit the car head on going about 30 miles per hour. The air bags deployed and we went flying forward. Once the car stopped I had realized what happened, we had been in a horrible car crash I then heard my sister voice, "Are you okay?" I looked around seeing the air bags and the dash right under my feet and all I could smell was all of the gas and radiator fluid from under the hood that we no longer had. "I think I'm okay, my hip hurts a little." I replied. " Get out of the car." She screamed at me, "I can't" I replied, "Get out!" she said her voice sterner then ever. And the next thing I remember is being in my sisters arms in the middle of the road in -4 degree weather looking at her car that no longer had a hood, as we called 911 I looked down at my boots and started to cry they whole toe was ripped apart and they where no longer wearable. As my sister and I got taken to the hospital with tears in my eyes I told my mom about my boots explaining that I didn't have the money to buy new ones. She gave me a hug and explained to me that I was way more important the her then a pair of boots. Although the car crash was not my sister fault they other driver did not have very good insurance and the car was totaled and unable to be drove again. My sister and I are okay, we both have miner injuries and nothing to serious. I am now unable to do gymnastics for the rest of the season due to an injury to my ankle I sustained in the crash. My parents are now head over heals in medical bills and insurance payment and are unable to replace anything that was lost in the accident. I had worked for many months to save up the money to buy my favorite Ugg boots and now I will have to do that all over again to replace them. I know that is not your problem and that this is the last of your worries but I just wanted to express how much I loved Uggs boot and how they where great, even if they only lasted one day. Thought the size chart was not useful but after wearing, item was true to size. Somewhat difficult entry.
