seem tight, but I know they will stretch a little...have not worn yet, because it is raining and i do not have any water protectant yet...my biggest complaint is that you cut off my apartment # (it is Apt. 103, and the 3 was not printed on the label (you had it correct on the invoice)...UPS took it to the apartment office and they figured it out
