I wear a size 9 in most shoes. Two years ago I purchases black ugg boots-more of a motorcycle style boot (can't remember style name) I got a size 8 because both my daughters said they stretch. They're fine but a bit flat at the tip of the toes. I can feel the end of the boot. I received the ugg moc style slippers for Christmas in a size 9 and although they had to stretch out a bit because of all the snuggly fleece, they feel great now. I purchased the boots I'm reviewing to wear around the house during this freezing cold winter and I wanted a looser fit with more toe room. The 9 is perfect. I have wiggle room in the tips, they don't feel too flat, like they're pressing down on my toes like the size 8. I love these boots and I'm glad I brought the size 9. I would suggest you order your actual size and not worry about them being too loose. The added wiggle room is about 1/4 to 1/2 size larger than other shoes but with all the fleece inside you'll need that little bit extra. Hope this is helpful to anyone questioning what size to buy.
