I wear these shoes to work - they are wonderful. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is for 2 reasons.. (1) I have high arches so I wish they were a bit higher in the shoe. (2) the bottom lining of the shoe starts to lift up after just 1-2 times of wearing. I do walk a lot and maybe socks will help, but I wanted to mention. Overall, a great purchase.

Great Service as always with Nordstroms however TOMS does make their shoes a little inconsistent in sizing. Returned and switched out to another pair and was great.

The Comfiest Shoes Ever

I must admit that I didn't understand the hype about these shoes--until I bought a pair. I like that for every pair of shoes sold, the company gives a new pair of shoes to a child in need. I like the price. I like the colors. They are cool and fashionable. I LOVE the way they feel--comfortable and lightweight. I now have two pairs (had to get them in red), and they seem consistent. Do order 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear. They run large, and they stretch.

I love my Toms! I bought a pair in the "chocolate" color two years ago and decided that it was time for another pair, so I recently bought them in "ash."
The salesperson informed me that the newer Toms are made with thicker canvas as people were having problems with wearing holes in them. The sizing is also a bit different and runs larger than the "older" Toms. I'm usually a 7.5 and that size fits with my older pair, but had to size down to a 7 with the new ones that I bought.
These shoes definitely do stretch after wearing them for a few hours, so give them a try even if they feel too tight at first! That was the case with me; the sizing was fine length wise, but felt super tight and narrow width wise. But after a few wears, they have stretched and fit perfectly now!
The only con is that they seem to soak up a bit of moisture/sweat from your feet after wearing them for a few hours...not a good feeling, but they air out/dry just fine once you take them off. Also, I'm not too pleased with the raise in price within the last month or so. They used to cost $43.95 but are now $47.95 :(
