Post-pregnancy, I run between a size 7.5 and an 8 on one foot and a 7 to a 7.5 on another (medium width). I ordered the 8 in Tom's and it was both too long and especially too wide. Going back to the 7.5, which was my size pre-pregnancy. (Who knew that your feet might not shrink back after birth?!) I live in a dry climate so there's no swelling either. I have a nautical-style Tom's which I love, and my red (which is a true red) wore out after a lot of abuse and many years. Can't wait to re-order and get my new pair! They're the ultimate for plane travel and casual wear; slip on, slip off. I do not wear mine with socks, but even if you do, I would stay true to size or one size down for trouser/thin socks.
These Toms are so comfortable. The red is a perfect red and will go with so many things. I always order my shoes at Nordstrom because of their superb quality and insurance of easy return policy. I am a faithful Nordstrom customer.
