Uncomfortable and cheaply constructed

These shoes ran about a whole size too small. The construction of the toe box is uncomfortable and requires you to size up but then the backs slip off your heel. The shoe is also cheaply constructed for the price. I bought these as a gift for a pre-teen girl but they need to be returned.

I am a very standard size 8, but after reading reviews ordered an 8.5 to be safe. The shoes were very cute and great for fall, but still too small. I easily returned them to the store where they measured my foot (size 8) and fitted me for the correct shoe, I ended up with a size 9. Definitely ordered larger than your normal size, these shoes don't really stretch with wear either. Once I found the correct size, I've been very happy with them.
