Prosfeminine, light, comfortable
I was pleasently suprised by this one since I did not like Portofino at all. I could see myself wearing Pondichery every day,it's so light and fresh and there's something sophisticated about it.It may not become a classic,but for a spring and summer fragrance it's pretty amazing.

Prosmen's cologne
Dior's Escale de Pondichery smells like a man's aftershave or cologne. After a few minutes on the skin, I can sense the sandalwood, but no cardamon or jasmine. If I had tried this in a store, I wouldn't have purchased it. I was attracted by the name and description and thought it would be warmer and more feminine. I live in a small town where only one department store carries Dior and they don't have these new fragrances.

Beautiful and lasting

Proslight, floral, fresh
This is a beautiful fragrance, it is complex and intriguing, yet refreshing and light. That said it lasts for hours on me, its not overwhelming, on the contrary it leaves a trace that lingers for a long time. I get complements from strangers when I wear it. The tea element is wonderful, the floral and spice components are detectable and in harmony with the tea extract.

It is not everyday that a scent makes you feel at ease, almost peaceful, but this does. It is a very relaxing and beautiful scent that totally reminds me of drinking morning tea before a hectic day...almost a calm before a storm and the scent brings me back to that place whenever I smell it throughout the day. Very crisp and clean. I love it!
