Proscurry
This spicy goodness just reminds me of delicious homemade curry from scratch. My nose decides to ignore the vanilla due to the nostalgia of anise. Whenever I take a whiff of this exotic creation, I hunger. Suggesting this for winter or dry seasons.

Smells soft and delicate

I have quite a few Jo Malones and have tested most of them at the stores BUT the Vanilla and Anise for the reason that I am not a big fan of vanilla scents. When I received a sample with my online purchase, I am surprised that it actually smells good. It doesn't smell like baked cookies (like what I had imagined all along) and though I can detect anise, it's not too strong. It reminds me of Victoria's Secret's "Heavenly" perfume, but more sophisticated. It doesn't last very long though, but then it's a cologne. Overall, I like it.

I am in love with Jo Malone Vanilla Anise! This is my first Jo Malone purchase and my next will be the English Pear body creme!

Proslight, fresh, unique
First, let me say that the staff of Jo Malone at Norstrom's are so welcoming and helpful. I was introduced to Jo Malone from a friend who gave me a trio of the travel votives for Christmas. What an awesome gift! I enjoyed the scents so much that I visited the Jo Malone corner of my local Nordstrom's. I selected a number of samples and tried them all on my own time. I enjoyed many of the scents but truly fell in love with Vanilla & Anise. It works with my body chemistry ... uplifts my spirits ... is not too overpowering ... yet I get many compliments on the fragrance. It does everything I would want from a cologne/perfume.
