I had high hopes for these shoes, but returned them . I ordered up a size, but shoe was still tight and did not fit comfortably. I liked the fuchsia color but the sparkle material made the shoe look cheap, not very stylish and certainly not an expensive looking shoe.

This is my sixth pair of Zeppas. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The leather or suede is incredibly soft, there is lots of room in the toe box, and the small wedge gives that little lift that elevates the shoe from ordinary ballets. They never pinch, but mold to your feet. I've worn them all straight out of the box and never had a blister. When I travel, they double as slippers, but are dressy enough to go to a restaurant. The fuschia is a gorgeous color, and will add a pop to all my spring and summer outfits. Zeppas run large. I usually take a 5.5, but in Zeppas I take a 6.5. Make sure to order at least a half size to a full size up.
I have bought a number of French Sole Sloop style shoes in the past, and I prefer this Zeppa style for the slight wedge heel. I got the black Cartizze which I really like for the sparkly finish. As advised in other reviews and based on my past experience, I bought a half size up (8.5 instead of regular 8), which worked perfectly.

I ordered slightly larger per other reviews. My toe went to the end of the shoe. I would usually live with this as the toe box is roomy and the shoe felt good (wonderfully soft leather), but I was concerned about scuffing the shoe and having the toe area looking pronounced and unsightly. I ordered the Black which had a shiny finish to it. It dressed it up nicely and I liked it, but again, I worried about future scuffing which would ruin the leather and its finish. In the end, I decided to return the shoes and selected another flat in its place with a sturdier leather and finish to it.
