It's very difficult to find a dress with sleeves that don't look matronly. This dress is perfect. It's an elegant dress and I love it. I normally wear a size 10 but ordered a size 12. I'm glad I did as the stretch satin makes it a little clingy and the sleeves are on the narrow side. The v-neckline and the ruching makes it sexy. It has a nice shape that flatters my figure (though I would recommend wearing spanx underneath so you're only accentuating the positive). I was worried that it would be too shiny because it's made of satin, but was happy to see that it has a nice sheen like silk charmeuse.

gorgeous color, fits great, so comfortable.
I chose another dress over this only because this would require some "spanx" type undergarments to pull in my belly.

this material is very form fitting which i don't usually wear.. love the color, but it does fit very close to the body: however, i think it would look wrong it i went up a size so i will keep the 10. I'm usually a size 10 in dresses. love the fact that my cellulite arms are covered !! plan to wear it for a formal cocktail dinner next week.....

I adore this shade of brilliant sapphire blue, so I was pretty excited to try on this dress and discover that it was also flattering on my body (I am 5'2", hourglass, neither thin nor fat). I like that it has sleeves, so I can wear it in winter and not freeze to death (I live in Chicago). The material has lining and ruching so that it disguises my tummy (very important with any satin dress!), and the cut emphasizes my waist. It's sexy but classy. The only problem with this dress is that it wrinkles, so you'll have to iron it before every wearing. Maybe I didn't do a good enough ironing job, because the dress did not look as smooth and wrinkle-free on me when I wore it as it does on the model in this picture. Even so, I think even she would look wrinklier if she sat down in it for more than 5 min. Still, the ruched style makes the wrinkly look like it's supposed to be that way, so I didn't mind. Overall, a lovely dress that I plan to wear quite a bit.
