I discovered this brand a few years ago. I bought a pair not knowing much about them. I soon discovered how incredible they are! You end up wearing them all the time because they are light, padded, and they never make your feet hurt. I wanted to get another pair because they are my everyday shoes. This combination looked nice and neutral.

Love the Color RUST

I love Kork-ease Ava. I own several pair but the new color rust I had not seen before. It is an Amber Brown really. I love that the platforms are raw cork. This is a great addition to my collection of Avas. Goes with many things and is really a three season shoe. I wear a 7.5 medium in most shoes and the size 7 fits perfectly. I would say size down if you are a half size unless you have a really wide foot.

I’ve been wanting a pair of Kork-Ease since my college days in the 70s, when I coveted a pair worn by my friend in a photo shoot she did. Three and a half decades is a long time to search for happiness, and believe me I tried similar less satisfying styles, but never found the real McCoy… because I didn’t know the brand name. Those days we still used carbon paper and searched in libraries. Now Kork-Ease are baaack, and although my feet no longer let me wear higher heels, the retro platform cradles my foot securely. These sandals groove to any fashion you choose. Plus I can afford them now, as today’s price is what I paid for rental on my first apartment in Chicago.
