These are infact, as I was told by another friend, very comfortable shoes. The downside (to the reason that I didn't keep them) is that they were a bit too wide for my feet. Bummer.

I got the green. Great height platform and color. Very snug right now, but I know how Kork-ease stretch so I expect them to be perfect after a few wears.

i love everything about these sandals -- total 70's flashback, look great paired with bellbottoms. I got them in natural, which is a lovely pale buff color. I don't like heels & almost never wear them -- these, on the other hand, are really more of a platform with just a bit of an added heel. They feel light, comfy & easy to walk in (although I haven't left the house in them yet!). LOVE THEM. (They do run large - I am 8 1/2, narrow footed, and sized down as Nordstrom advised. 8 is perfect).

I had these shoes the first time around in the early 80s and I loved them. I was delighted to see them back but these have a raised portion inside the foot bed that I found uncomfortable. The old ones were simply flat with a leather foot bed which was very comfortable and they were light too.
