Across the Universe is one of DL's best holiday varnishes. The individual colors within the bottle are heavily pigmented, intensely sparkly, and altogether gorgeous, like a liquid peacock's feather. Truly to die for. And perfect year 'round, not only for the Yuletide.

I can't stop staring at my hands! This is tricky to apply at first, so give it a good shake or move it around like it says on the box. I've applied 2-3 coats and a top coat. Without the top coat, this color doesn't truly shine! The hexagon shaped glitter is really unique, and my nails feel like I've captured part of the sea! I can't wait to snatch up some more DL colors.

Prosbeautiful
This is such a fun color to wear on my toes. I'm in my forties, so I like that it's sparkly without being too little girl/teenager looking. The dark navy undertone of Lady Sings the Blues makes it classy. It's not something I normally would have tried, but I love it and always get compliments. It's fun to look down at my toes and see them sparkle!

I bought the Deborah Lippmann Get the Party Started pack (Happy Birthday, Candy Shop, and Forget you) Across the Universe, Bad Romance, and Ruby Slippers. They are all fantastic. Across the Universe, Bad Romance, and Ruby Slippers have such great depth. They stay on well with a few coats. Remember to add a topcoat! Love each and every one!
