OMG This was the prettiest glitter nail ever!! it is very pigmented and last long time. also the light reflection from glitters are amazing. i know why Deborah Lippmann's glitter nails are famous!
I am a new fan of Deborah Lippmann! Her polishes are gorgeous, especially the glitters. When paired with her gel lab base and top coat, it lasts a long time. I'm terrible at doing my own nails but the glitter is easy to apply. It can get thick being that the glitter is chunky (I am reviewing Kelly Clarkson's 'Stronger') but you can control the look by dabbing and sort of rolling the brush rather than painting. When paired with the gel lab it almost looks like the gel glitter manicures you get at a salon but without the damaging removal. I was able to peel a lot of the polish off when I was ready to change it and used nail polish remover for whatever was leftover. I experimented by using the glitter on the tips and on the entire nail. It was fun to layer as well. I wish I could get all the glitters in all the colors!
This is the best glitter polish I've found. Happy Birthday is the such a gorgeous party of multicolored glitter! It stays on forever, and the glitter isn't rough like some other brands. I love it on its own - if you sort of dab it on, instead of paint it on, it coats nails pretty well.
Love this polish both on its own and with "undies" - a base coat of another color, I usually use a navy or dark teal. Across the Universe was my first Deborah Lippmann in my nail polish collection, and has not been my last. I found the application, even with the chunky glitter, a breeze. The glitter coverage was even, and the glitter stays suspended within the polish (or at least it has for the length of time it had been in the store and it's been in my home). Overall, $19 was well worth it!
