No wonder these are the highest priced ECCOs

I've owned at least 8 pairs of ECCO shoes and there is a reason why these are the most expensive of their line. When money got tight for the family, I tried to go with less expensive ECCOs, but was left disappointed with how long they held up which was only about 3-6 months. I'm on my feet between 8-12 hours a day and these typically last about a year. The comfort they provide is top notch and holds up to why they're recommended by many. These have a very classic look and compliment anything from slacks, jeans or a suit.
On a final note, the level of service I received from the team at the Walnut Creek location has been the best. I've purchased ECCOs from other retailers but will now only return to Nordstroms due to the excellent service they provided.
This is my 2nd pair of these shoes. Very comfortable! I can't stand shoes that look like they have rubber soles. I've been raised to believe that true dress shoes have leather soles. I switched to these because of my plantar issues. These have the wooden heels and look like regular leather soles from the side!

Decent shoe for the price

Prosstylish, runs large, comfortable
Well built shoes and comfortable. However, other reviewers have mentioned how large shoes made by Ecco run. This cannot be overstated. I have two pairs of Ecco shoes, dress shoes and these shoes, and in both instances I had to buy US size 6-6.5 for them to fit. This compares to 8-8.5 for every other type/brand of shoe I've purchased over the past decade and a half. So, in summary, this is a quality shoe that I would consider buying again. I believe they run slightly too wide and definitely too long but once the right length is found the shoe is fairly comfortable.

Proscomfortable
I've been wearing these shoes for about a week and find them very comfortable. The soles are shock absorbent rubber so don't make noises down tiled hallways. Although the soles aren't fancy leather and wood like some of your higher end dress shoes, they are still nice enough to be worn with a suit. They look good with a suit and are very comfortable. Best of both worlds!
The size does runs tad large so get 1/2 size down. I usually wear an 8 in dress shoes but the 7.5 here still gives me a bit of wiggle room at the toes.
