Proscomfortable
My husband has a wide foot and always has trouble buying dress shoes for work and for casual wear. These run a little wider than other shoes he has had in the past. He says are very comfortable and loves the rubber sole!

Right out of the box these shoes felt like I've been wearing them for months. Not only do they look great but they feel great too. Well worth the little bit extra. I won't wear any shoe but Ecco.

This shoe was comfortable the first time I wore it. It dresses up and down pretty well. It is light compared to comparable shoes purchased from other makers (e.g., Cole Haan).

A Return to Character

Thank goodness Ecco has quit some of those hair-brained designs and brought back a classic apron-toe oxford. Finally, a cordwainer-worthy resting place for my schoolboy-shoe memories (I had my first pair of Eccos for my formative primary school years). This is the first thing I envision when I think on "all-around good-looking walking shoe".
Very comfortable thus far (2 weeks, occasional wear), and the EU 46 fits pretty well for a US 12.5. I think it will stretch a bit, for which I anticipated.
N.B. It's a thick proprietary rubber sole. It could function as a dress shoe with some neutral polish, perhaps, but it's essentially a casual shoe.
