I purchased these for my husband and he loves them. But we both love Ecco shoes. These are well made, good quality leather, true to size, and the black is perfect. I usually shop for my husband and now have just decided to stick with Ecco because the cost is good for the quality. My husband is hard on his shoes but Ecco has always held up well. I feel confident these will too.

This was my third pair of Ecco's in the last 10 years. My first 2 pair were great - I wore my dark brown nearly every day for 5-7 years and while the heel and bottom burst on these shoes it was no big deal.
My BLACK Ecco's burst after just a few years and I rarely wore them. See picture - these were not worn much.
I am VERY unhappy. I contacted Ecco and they said I need to PAY out of my pocket to send to them to see if covered under warranty - really make me pay and work for this?.
Nordstrom should re consider carrying Ecco just because of this policy... ..still looking.

This shoe runs a little large when converting from european to US sizes. But if you get the right size it is extremely comfortable!
