This is a great primer....I think my only complaint with it is the applicator tends to apply way more than I could ever need...so I tend to dab it on and then use my finger to spread it over my eyelids. But the product is great.
I wasn't sure about this product when I originally purchased it, but I have really found it to be wonderful. I use it on its own daily to brighten and smooth my eyelids, and it is also a great base for eye shadow.
I give this 4 stars because it works for most of the day. I like the applicator wand better than other brands that require your finger to apply, eg bare minerals.

Works well and keeps the shadows in place. Wish would come with the pump instead of an application wand.
