I normally buy size 8 in the Elle Tahari suits and Halogen so I decided to go with that size for this dress. The fit was perfect. It's a little stretchy around the bodice so it hugs my bust and torso but doesn't constrict, bunch or show and fat. Hides the belly well and at most you'd need a shaper for the tummy if that is a problem. The neckline is nice. I tried it on without a bra and you can't tell, no see through problems but mine is black. With a lightly padded bra it enhances the cleavage but within modest ranges. I'm a B cup if that helps. I bought this dress for a business dinner at a high end restaurant and plan to wear it with either black high heels or patent leather dark red ones. Both go well with it. I love this dress.

I bought this dress online for a wedding. It arrived quickly and in ready-to-wear condition right out of the box. The fit is flattering and comfortable - received many compliments on it. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I ordered this dress for top upcoming dressy occasions. I was concerned that the pleated bodice might be too much with all the ruching on the top, but together they make for a very figure flattering combination! The ultra-violet color is beautiful, a cross between purple and blue depending on the light. This will be very comfortable to wear; I am so looking forward to wearing it! M

I have a true pear shape and this dress flattered. It fit in the chest and the waist line in combination with the a-line skirt made my waist and hips appear smaller.
