Flowing and great-fitting lightweight pants

Prosflattering, well-made
Sometimes I have trouble with the fit of HardTail pants but not this time! I bought these pants to go over a swimsuit, and will probably wear on other occasions because they are simply so comfortable and flattering. I love the fold down waist, and the cotton fabric it is made from is strong and I can tell will not stretch out and lose its shape. Hard Tail does make long-lasting clothing in my experience and these pants are no exception. They are worth the money. The actual pant fabric is lightweight and opaque so there are no see-through concerns at all, which is exactly what I was looking for, so the pants could serve many functions. The fit is great through the waist and thighs and down the leg line. It does not look like you are wearing a bag! These are actually quite flattering, and I am 5'3", 120 lbs, I have hips, and I am very sensitive about how my pants fit. I am extraordinarily happy with these pants! I do need to hem them however, but I am accustomed to that due to my height. In my opinion, anyone of various height would look great in these pants.
These pants are super comfortable and adjustable for every rise. Fold them down if you have a short rise, or leave up if you are long, like me. However, Nordstrom will charge you $25 to hem them (not free for full price pants like usually) because they have a two tiered hem.

LOVE these pants. I would never have picked them, but the sales associate brought them to me along with the HT perforated top as a swimsuit coverup. They are perfect for so many uses -- go from yoga to massage to dinner to pool. Wash and wear great too.

not an attractive fit for size 12+
Really nice summer pants. Love the light weight flowing fabric, but the size chart states a Large= 12-14 which must be a typo. The "Large" is a juniors size 12 at most, but fits more like I would expect a size 10 to fit. The fit on the legs is nice, but it's so tight in the crotch for very short-waisted - camel toe city! I wish they came in an extra large, that would probably be a perfect fit for those of us curvy size 12 gals. IF you are a 14, these won't fit you if you have hips. Love the pants, but super disappointed in the fit.
