I really want to love these sandals as the soles are comfortable and supportive. I bought them because my husband raves about this brand and has many of their flip flops and shoes. But the strap rubs the top of my foot to the point of cutting and they are miserable to wear. I've tried wearing them several times to see if they just needed breaking in but it's more painful each time I wear them. For how expensive they are, I'd say it's not worth it.
I love the pineapple and tropical design on the white straps. I am an 8 to an 8.5 and I ordered the 8. Possibly could have gone down another 1/2 size. Fit just fine though. They are very very comfortable. I love the arch support that Olukai provides. Just know these are not dainty looking. Maybe it's the black rubber base/soles, but they look a tad bulky around the toe area. Maybe if I ordered a 1/2 size down it wouldn't look that way?? Not sure, but also thinking the width might be too narrow if I ordered a 1/2 size down because the width is perfect at size 8. I will be keeping the 8s. Great for wearing at the beach, out somewhere at the beach, or every day wear. An all-around perfect summer flip flop. I love them and can see me wearing them a lot.
