Soft and pliable from the get go but not much of an arch support. I don’t have high arches. I have normal but falling arches so I expected to feel more support.

The color in catalog (online) was solid light blue, this was not was I wanted and returned to Nordstrom store, had to drive an hour since our Nordstrom store in Flatirons Mall was closed--finding shopping online is not convienent for me.
I love these. I buy them every year. They have enough arch support to wear comfortably all day. I have very picky feet, so I am delighted that they fit so well.
