It doesn’t really rain in California so I had my doubts in purchasing this boots. But then I saw them in this beautiful pink color and decided to buy. This boots are so comfortable to walk in. Best purchase I made. I also have the taller boots but those are not for short people because it hits below the knee and very uncomfortable to walk n sit.

I adore them I wish they had more colors some of the styles is discontinued
I read several reviews when trying to decide whether to go with an 8 or a 9 -- I wear an 8.5. Seemed like most recommended going down a half-size, which I did, but I would not recommend that. I could get the boots on and there was adequate room for my foot, but getting them off was ridiculously difficult due to the tightness over the instep, so returned them for a size 9. Now they're easy to put on and take off, but a little too roomy so will have to wear thicker socks. Hope this helps.
And a shout-out for Nordstrom's return policy and procedure -- they make returns and reorders super easy, I was impressed and happy!
