Mia stopped charging after light usage

I barely use my MIA because I have sensitive skin and I can only afford the new brushes ever so often. The MIA now doesn't work and just pulses when charged after only 2 years of seriously light or no usage. I used it maybe once every 3 weeks.
The customer service rep told me that the product is meant to be charged 24/7 or the product drains faster. Also the lifespan of this product is only 2-5 years. For this price, go with something cheaper or something better made.

I received this as a gift, charged for 24 hours per instructions and it never turned on. It would pulse 5 times and then nothing. Re-checked the manual and 5 pulses isn't mentioned. Tried a different outlet and charged again for 24 hours, same thing. LED doesn't "glow" while charging and manual is not helpful at all. Checked some online reviews and this is a common problem for both new Clarisonic items and those only a few months old. It's going back to the store. I'm very disappointed - it costs way too much to be broken straight out of the box.

Proseasy to use, effective
After using this for some time, I feel that my skin is so much cleaner than when I just used a washcloth. I like to use the sensitive brush head, and it does a thorough job without being abrasive. I'm glad that I made the investment.
I don't know what took me so long to finally purchase the Clarisonic Mia after soo many great reviews from my friends, but I don't know how I have lived without this amazing skin cleansing tool for this long! I have spent so much money on serums, lotions, potions and creams, but without the Clarisonic to properly exfoliate and clean my skin I wonder how much better all of those products could have been working. I have only had the Mia for 2 weeks but I have seen a great improvement already, especially in blackheads. I would 100% recommend this item as a must have in your beauty regimen. Nordstrom was great also as they were out of some samples but have shipped me some new samples to replace the ones that did not come in my original order. Overall, I am a very happy customer!
