I agree with other reviewers that this necklace is prettier in person than in the picture and overall I think that it looks pretty and understated. I tend to prefer minimalistic jewelry and was looking for something pretty but subtle that I could wear everyday and also for something formal like an interview! The pearl is round but somewhat flattened so that it lays flat against the skin. It's actually a tad bigger that I prefer, but within okay limits. I also thought I might prefer that it be on a pendant rather than be connected to the chain at too points, but it does prevent the clasp from slipping down to the front, which I appreciate. The clasp is a bit small/stiff/hard to work (and I have tiny fingers), but I can manage it just fine if I rotate it to the front and use a mirror. Overall happy with the look and quality for the price!
