I've been looking for a pair of good quality saddle shoes for a very long time so I just had to buy these when they became available. I am usually an 8 1/2 and had already bought a pair of bass penny loafers which fit perfectly, these shoes however feel a bit larger. I have some space left in the heel (which can probably be corrected with a stick um), the toe box also fits a bit small so I can't go a size smaller. I'm hoping they stretch out a bit as I break them in.

I first purchased these shoes from another store, went back to get a second pair, and they were sold out. I remember B&W oxfords from childhood and went nuts when I saw them. I get lots of compliments on them and wear them with straight leg jeans. I searched the internet and found them at Nordstrom's. Nordstrom's also had these tony shoes in brown & taupe. I couldn't believe my luck. Now I have three pairs of the sharpest casuals around. I highly recommend purchasing them because they can give the right look to a cool outfit. They cannot be worn with everything so I wouldn't overdo it.

I received these shoes as a Christmas gift. However, now, one month into wearing them, both soles have split horizontally completely, across the ball of the foot area. I have contacted Nordstrom's, and am waiting for a reply. I am really surprised at this quality problem from Bass shoes. The style is great, the comfort is wonderful, and the fit is good. But this is a major flaw! I would like to exchange them for another pair, but am leery about the same thing happening. Sorry to say, I have already recommended them to a lot of people who have complimented them!

These shoes are very comfortable and has a classic flair. I get many compliments on the style and design. It has a long but not narrow front that gives it that stylist look. A great shoe to purchase.
I have purchased 7 pairs in the last 30 days and only displeased with 2 pair. This is NOT one of them.
