These are amazing. The price was better at Nordstroms than any other store. More importantly, when I was online, the order would not ship until 12/18. However, through LIVE CHAT I was given information to order direct through a store and receive it by 11/27. Thank you for helping your customers!!

I bought this for my husband as a Valentine's gift. The end result is the closest shave he's ever had. His face is amazingly smooth and soft. He said he'd give it 3.5 stars. That's not an option, so I rounded up.
Now the cons... 1- Although it is labeled as unscented, the pre-shave definitely has a pine/tree sap scent. The shaving cream and aftershave do not have a scent. 2- Even after waiting a full minute after the pre-shave to apply the shaving cream (as directed by the sales associate), it still "gobs up" the razor. A lot. This prolongs the process significantly. Don't use it if you are hoping for a quick shave. 3- Every time he uses it, his face is very warn and red for at least half the day. It doesn't itch and isn't painful, so he is toughing it out.
He hasn't experienced any issues with the razor, but he hasn't used it more than 10 times. We'll see how that turns out. As far as recommending this item, we are on the fence. Even at the sale price, I'd be on the fence..

In a word, Wow. Purchased this as a gift for my husband who has sensitive skin and was using a top shelf drugstore disposable razor and store brand shaving supplies. He also worries and occasionally suffers from ingrown hairs. To quote him "after using Art of Shaving I will use nothing else" and "this is literally the best shave of my life."
The stand also classes up his side of the bathroom and does not leave a mark on our counter top. Plus it's handy to store his supplies.
As for me, the buyer of this product? I thoroughly enjoyed the return on investment after feeling his skin after the shave. The only problem? I've created a div-o who only wants this brand of shaving materials.
