I purchased this slip to wear under my sheath wedding dress, just to avoid undie lines and lines from looser slips. It slims beautifully and creates a lovely bum silhouette. However it is pretty warm so if you overheat easily it might not be the best choice.

Prosnightmare, avoid it, not the original
If this system allowed one to choose a 'zero star' option, I'd use that to describe this garment.
I had purchased this at the store,after asking the sales lady for "the half slip" in black and nude. She may not have realized that there are now TWO styles-- the "Simplicity" one (i.e. this one) being the new one. I wanted the "Hide and Sleek" original.
This garment caused problems for me.
It kept riding upwards, rolling up at the top above my waist. I ended up with a roll inside my dress--which looked pretty bad-- and spent the whole day tugging down on the slip so that it didn't ride up ALL the way over my butt (which it DID DO several times, exposing my butt at, shall we say, inopportune moments).
I'm going to go to the store to see if I can return the "Simplicity."
